Investment in Excellence Committee - Request for Funds

One of the core objectives of the WAIS PTA is to promote the educational environment for our students. The Investment in Excellence Committee (IEC) provides an avenue for PTA members to submit ideas on how to spend the dollars collected by the PTA through both the Write-a-Check program in the Fall and the reconciliation of the budget in the Spring. Applications will be evaluated based on:

• Number of students benefiting from the project 
• Educational quality of the project
• Priorities as defined by the administration
• Longevity of the items purchased
• Lack of alternative funding for the project
  

We ask that you submit your requests for the Fall selection process by September 15, 2009. so that the selected projects can be announced during our "Write a Check" campaign in October. Requests can be submitted throughout the year and will be considered for funding in the Spring.
