SBISD College Night 2005

More than 150 colleges and universities are expected to attend SBISD College Night 2005, which will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 11-12 on the campus of Spring Woods High School. Colleges and universities may offer special breakout sessions for prospective students.

Two sessions are planned to meet student needs across the district. Students enrolled at Stratford and Spring Woods high schools and at Westchester Academy for International Studies should attend the evening session on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

State colleges and universities represented are expected to include the University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University in College Station, as well as the University of Houston and other local institutions. The U.S. military service branches, technical or trade schools, and numerous out-of-state colleges and universities will also be represented.

We are asked to provide cookies or brownies, etc. to the reps for the colleges. Westchester is asked to provide 20 dozen, or 10 people bring 2 dozen each. If you can help provide these refreshments, please send them to school before noon Tuesday October 11. Bring them to the Upper School office or Beverly Martin’s office. She will deliver them to Spring Woods High School.
